With a new partnership with Bio Brazil Fair, BIOFACH America Latina is the largest event in the sector in Latin America and present in the international calendar of trade shows dedicated to organics.
From production to retail, the organics universe takes part in the event, which values socio-environmental responsibility and supports sustainable producers and traders.
Organized by NürnbergMesse and China Green Food Development Center, BIOFACH CHINA is the daughter show of BIOFACH, the world’s biggest organic trade fair held annually in Nürnberg, Germany. Since 2007, BIOFACH CHINA has developed into the most influential organic trade fair in China. Under the patronage of IFOAM, it is the only trade fair in China which specially focused on certified organic products.
IFOAM President Andre Leu will be taking part in a seminar hosted by IFOAM Japan on March 13th in Tokyo.
The main objectives of this seminar are
1. What kind of efforts and plans are being used by distrubution industries following the radioactive fallout.
2. Overview of the present situation of Organic Agriculture in Japan.
Following the "International Conference on Organic & Ecological Agriculture in Mountain Ecosystems March 5th- 8th, 2014" the Towards Organic Asia (TOA) alliance, in close collaboration is organizing an optional 2-day post-conference programme at the College of Natural Resources, Lobesa.
Taking action on Rio +20, the Government of Bhutan, Navdanya, the Millennium Institute, and the International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements co-organized The International Conference on Organic & Ecological Agriculture in Mountain Ecosystems, from 5-8 March 2014, in the Taj Tashi in Thimphu, Bhutan.
The day before BioFach in Nuremberg is the day for special IFOAM events.

From July 2 to 4 2013, the proponents of the IFOAM OSEA II Project in partnership with the Tanzania Organic Agriculture Movement (TOAM) are organizing in Dar es Salaam the third East African Organic Conference under the theme “Sharing achievements made and lessons learned”. The conference will bring together organic stakeholders to share experiences learned since the launch of the East African Organic Products Standards six years ago.
