Current food systems have left 805 million people chronically hungry, and 2 billion people suffer from micronutrient deficiencies. Smallholder farmers, although they grow 70% of our food, account for about half of the world’s hungry. Ramping up agro-industrial models of production will not change this. Going organic can.
