IFOAM represents the Farmers' Constituency at the UNFCCC in Bonn
The Farmers' Constituency is an important resource for information on agriculture and greenhouse gases, based on its research on the role that agriculture, especially Organic Agriculture, can contribute to reducing emissions. But there is an urgent need for widespread capacity-building on "climate-smart agriculture" among farmers in general. These are just a few of the messages transmitted by IFOAM Advocacy Manager Robert Jordan on behalf of the Farmers' Constituency, during the Second Session of the UNFCCC Ad Hoc Working Group on the Durban Platform for Enhanced Action (ADP 2) in Bonn, Germany.
