Identifying international projects that serve the greater uptake of
organic and ensuring their effective implementation
As a creative and agile project initiator and implementer, IFOAM - Organics International works on behalf of the organic movement to facilitate organic development. We support actors at various stages of the supply chain in making the transition to Organic Agriculture, promoting local organic solutions, and collecting and disseminating best practices.
In partnership with development agencies and donors, regional membership and like-minded institutions, IFOAM - Organics International promotes the adoption of organic practices as sustainable solutions to poverty, food insecurity, soil erosion, biodiversity decline and climate change. Holistic, people-centered, participatory approaches with a focus on access to nutrition – particularly for women and children – and market-oriented value chain facilitation form the backbone of our work.
Across a wide range of projects, we can count on a skilled network of experts and consultants, who provide access to information and knowledge and help us plan, steer and evaluate our projects.
