ALGOA + 4 International Summit on Organic Agriculture Policy

There is broad consensus that the way food is produced and consumed urgently needs to change. Only then can global challenges such as climate change, biodiversity loss, and poverty be addressed. Policies unarguably play a crucial role in driving – or impeding – this change. Fortunately, the number of positive examples of local, national, and regional policies aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is rapidly increasing.

The Summit

The ALGOA + 4 International Summit on Organic Agriculture Policy will bring together policy makers, practitioners, and renowned experts from across the globe to share best practice in agriculture-related policy-making. Based on inspiring examples from various locations, they will jointly identify ways to advance policy development and implementation. The summit is integrated into the colorful Goesan Organic Festival and held in combination with the International Summit on Organic Food Systems.
