Moving towards a 100% organic ingredient approach and reducing exceptional rules: concrete proposals by IFOAM EU

IFOAM EU supports a principle driven approach regarding the EU organic regulation. Our concrete proposals on how to move towards “100% of organic ingredients” in organic food processing and on how to reduce the exceptional rules in the organic regulations, with a focus on increasing consumer trust and feasibility for the sector presented in a letter to the Organic Unit in DG AGRI.
