Genetically Engineered Crops, Glyphosate and the Deterioration of Health in the United States of America

IFOAM President Andre Leu is one of the authors of the recently published peer reviewed correlation study “Genetically Engineered Crops, Glyphosate and the Deterioration of Health in the United States of America”, which has linked glyphosate, the world’s most widely used herbicide to a huge increase in the incidence of 22 chronic diseases across the United States. Commenting on the outcome of the study Andre says “the significance and strength of the correlations show that the effects of glyphosate and GMO crops on human health should be further investigated.”
