The mission of IFOAM - Organics International is ‘’Leading change, organically’’ and its vision is the broad adoption of truly sustainable agriculture, value chains and consumption that are in line with the principles of organic agriculture.

IFOAM – Organics International’s work contributes to an increased:

• adoption of organic farming and related strategies, the transformation of increasingly sustainable agricultural systems, and incorporation of organic ideas and practises
• organic food demand and supply, both certified and uncertified
• percentage of organic businesses that transition from good to best practises

This textbook, developed in the context of the project “KOICA Organic Agriculture Policy-Implementation Support and Capacity Building Project in the Kyrgyz Republic”, provides facilitated information to start any initiative with an organic approach. This is because it is funded by the Korean Development Agency (KDS), developed by the participants of the Training of Team of Trainers (ToToT) Program, and contextualised for the Kyrgyz Republic.
