The ALGOA+4 International Summit on Organic Agriculture

ALGOA+4

The Global Landscape: Organic Policies

There is a broad consensus that the way food is produced and consumed needs to change. Only then can global challenges such as climate change, biodiversity loss, and poverty be addressed. Policies unarguably play a crucial role in driving – or impeding – this change. Fortunately, the number of positive examples of local, national, and regional policies aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals is rapidly increasing.
