Join the Webinar on Organic Certification of Coffee and Cacao in Peru

The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) will host a set of webinars on organic certification in Peru. These online events will take place from August 19 to September 15 2020 and will be held in Spanish.  

Patricia Flores, a Senior Project Coordinator at IFOAM – Organics International, will present the first session, “Organic Agriculture, Coffee and Cacao”. She will share how the Principles of Organic, the organic movement itself and the organic sector in Peru work together to promote sustainable practices of farming benefiting farmers’ livelihood and families in the region.

The series of online seminars, under the specific topic of organic certification, aims to create both general and specified knowledge about certification in the region. Depending on the state of development and profile of the participants, you can join in all the events or select those of interest to you.
