Participatory Guarantee Systems in East Africa: Case Studies from Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda

The report was commissioned by the IFOAM "Regional cooperation for organic standards and certification capacity in East Africa" (OSEA) Project. The project was implemented by IFOAM in close cooperation with the National Organic Agriculture movements in Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda.

Case studies from Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda bring to the fore the experience of PGS development in those countries, in collaboration with National Organic Agriculture movements and other stakeholders from the region.
