March 8th marks International Women’s Day, yet one day isn’t enough to do justice to the incredible work carried out by women in agriculture everywhere. All year long, let’s work to amplify the voices of women leading the much-needed transformation of our food systems!
We asked some of the incredible leaders, farmers, and sustainability advocates in the organic community to share a message that matters to them.
“Organic agriculture embraces rich and vitally important systems, supporting agency for women as agriculturalists and helping to #BreaktheBias that men are farmers and women just help on farms.” Our World Board President Karen Mapusua invites us to celebrate 2022 as the #YearofOrganics.
