The Inter-American Commission on Organic Agriculture (CIAO) and IFOAM – Organics International recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on projects and actions related to the promotion and implementation of sustainable organic practices, organic certification and rural development, amongst others.

The Sustainable Development Goals have set the task of reaching Zero Hunger by 2030. We want to achieve this with food grown in a way that is good for farmers, good for you and good for the planet. 

Every three years, our emblematic Organic World Congress (OWC) is held in conjunction with our General Assembly, involving thousands of organic farmers, producers, researchers, advocates and policy experts from around the world. By rotating across countries, the OWC brings global visibility to the host country.

BIOFACH AMERICA LATINA co-located with BIO BRAZIL FAIR and Naturaltech opens its doors for all members of the organic movement in Brazil who want to explore new distribution channels.

BIOFACH AMERICA, co-located with Natural Products Expo East, is the leading trade show for organic products at the US East Coast and will take place in Philadelphia, PA, USA, from September 29 - October 1, 2022.

After about 30 years of development, China’s organic food market has reached a sales volume of US$8.59 billion, which makes China the largest organic market in Asia and the fourth largest in the world.
