The Regional Technical Platform for Family Farming is a global initiative facilitated by the FAO Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean, aiming to create spaces for dialogue and exchange of experiences to promote technical and institutional innovations to strengthen the family farming sector.

We are actively seeking partners to join us in our project aimed at empowering local stakeholders in the Himalayas to play a substantial role in shaping policy environments that support agroecology-based food systems.

The organic sector will meet at the organic exhibition in Nuremberg from 13-16 February 2024 for BIOFACH, the world´s leading trade fair for organic food.

Over 800 participants attended the third and final webinar to unveil the completed version of the “IFOAM Guidance & Explanation of Group Certification Requirements” hosted by IFOAM – Organics International together with the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FiBL).

The European organic sector and movement is preparing to show its diversity, innovational potential and celebrate its work on 23 September 2023, the EU Organic Day.

IFOAM - Organics International is currently delivering a 2-day refresher training in Abuja, Nigeria, under the Knowledge Centers for Organic Agriculture (KCOA) Project.

On 14 September, we marked five years of #IGrowYourFood, and we partnered with INOFO to host a live stream discussion with organic farmers.

The Mountain Partnership Secretariat, in collaboration with IFOAM – Organics International, successfully conducted participatory guarantee systems (PGS) trainings and delivered Mountain Partnership Product (MPP) labels in Peru and Bolivia, benefiting a total of 81 producers.

IFOAM – Organics International recently published two studies in the framework of its collaboration with FAO’s Mountain Partnership with the aim to promote sustainable management of fragile ecosystems such as mountains and islands by supporting sustainable food systems.
